Mi-24 (Hind-A)
Mil · USSR
The Mi-24 Hind was unique because it combined the firepower of an attack helicopter with a small cabin for 8 combat-ready troops. Its distinctive "bubble" canopies (on later models) and stub wings, which provide 25% of its lift, made it one of the most recognizable and feared silhouettes of the Cold War.
