A-12 OXCART

The A-12 was built for the CIA under Project OXCART. Made almost entirely of titanium to withstand the heat of friction at high speeds, it flew higher and faster than any aircraft before it. It was the first aircraft to truly incorporate stealth characteristics into its shape.
